Inventory Management
                   in Codenica Inventory

Inventory management in Codenica Inventory is characterized primarily by the data sustainability. Removal of each object is controlled by the User and is completed with the appropriate Asset Disposal Form.

Inventoried data is entered manually and may be shared by multiple Users in the network. In the case of networking, the database is based on any MSSQL server, version 2005 and upwards. Each User may be included in the system of privileges.

An inventory maintained in Codenica Inventory may include any inventoried resource (in addition to computers); for example, phone sets can be inventoried as well. It all depends on the creativity of the User.

Audit, Tracking and Help Desk
                   in Codenica Audit

An audit performed in Codenica Audit is a fully automated activity, subject to deep configuration at the application settings level. Like any automated audit, it is characterized by a lack of data stability (each new scan automatically refreshes and corrects the previously collected data).

Audit is a process of collecting detailed data, thus the amount of information assembled in Codenica Audit is significant. Data collected in the audit is closely linked to the scanned computers and does not allow inventories to be created for other objects.

In addition to data from audited computers, Codenica Audit also provides data from the company employees tracking and supports Help Desk processes.

Audit, Tracking and Help Desk + Inventory
Codenica Audit + Codenica Inventory

The combination of Codenica Audit and Codenica Inventory is the most comprehensive solution. This solution allows Codenica Audit to be used to perform periodic scans within the audit and export the data to the inventory database managed by Codenica Inventory. Using this solution, the User acquires an automated process of creating and updating the inventory.

Codenica Audit includes a deeply configurable mechanism for exporting audit data to the inventory records in Codenica Inventory database, which means the User can accurately select objects to be exported and further inventoried in the Codenica Inventory database. This allows the User to avoid inventory data redundancy which often results in the lack of record clarity. The mechanism for exporting audit data also blocks all the functions which remove data records in the target database, thus eliminating threats to the sustainability of the inventoried data.
